A healthy bread which is made from ragi and whole wheat flour. The cake is quite moist by the use of ripened banana in the batter and is made eggless. Ragi in other words called as finger millet flour imparts a nutty taste to the cake/bread. You can serve them as a healthy snack with warm milk for kids.

- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour , (I used multigrain)
- 1 cup Ragi Flour (Finger Millet/ Nagli)
- 2-1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 3/4 cup Caster Sugar
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 2 cups Ripe Bananas , mashed
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
How to make Eggless Ragi Banana Bread Recipe-Finger Millet & Whole Wheat Banana Cake
To make Eggless Ragi Banana Bread Recipe, Prepare a loaf pan by greasing it with oil and dusting with flour. Preheat the oven to 180 degree C.
Add in the flours, sugar and baking powder into the stand mixer and give a whisk to combine them together. Once combined, add in the remaining ingredients and beat until all the ingredients have come together and are well combined.
Pour the bread/ cake batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake in the oven for about 35 to 45 minutes until when a tooth pick is inserted comes out clean, but could have a few sticky crumbs.
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely for about 2 hours before you can cut and serve.
