Ingredients

  • 750 ml Apple juice
  • 2 Oranges , juiced
  • Orange Zest (Rind) , from 1 orange
  • 1/2 teaspoon All spice powder
  • 3 Cloves (Laung)
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
  • 1-2 Star anise
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar , (or more as per your taste)

How to make Mulled Apple Juice Recipe

  1. To begin making the Mulled Apple Juice Recipe, in a saucepan, pour the apple juice and the orange juice.

  2. Add the sugar, orange zest, allspice powder, cloves, star anise and cinnamon.

  3. Simmer the juice for about 3 to 4 minutes and turn off the heat.

  4. Pour the Mulled Apple Juice in glasses and serve warm, raising a toast to fun times!

I prefer to use Apple and Pear juice because it is sweeter than pure apple juice. It also needs less sugar than plain old apple juice. This is a classic ‘a pinch of this and a little bit of that’ recipe. You just can’t go wrong. Go with the flow and throw in flavours that you enjoy. The citrus and cinnamon will remind you of Christmas each time you make it.
