Papad Parathas Recipe
Papad Parathas is an interesting Indian paratha with a twist of papad which is used as filling. Papad or Poppadoms are everyone’s favourite Indian meal accompaniment. In many parts of India and in many families, eating Papad is almost an obsession and must-have with every Indian meal. Papad can be prepared in various ways, fried or roasted or one can even cook a sabzi using these delicious papads.
Serve Papad Parathas with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney and Lauki Raita.

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour , kneaded to dough
- 5 Papad , fried and crushed
- 3/4 cup Onions , finely chopped
- 1/3 cup Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Chaat Masala Powder
- Salt , to taste
- 1 teaspoon Oil , (more to smear)
How to make Papad Parathas Recipe
To begin with Papad Parathas, firstly fry the papads and crushed them in a bowl.
In an another bowl, mix finely chopped onions, cilantro, red chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, some salt and 1 teaspoon oil. Mix everything well and keep it aside.
Mix crushed papads and the onion masala when you are ready to roll the Parathas.
Roll out the Paratha into medium roti size and place 1-2 tablespoon of papad stuffing on the centre of Parathas.
Close all the edges in a middle and make balls out of it. Roll the stuffed papad ball again and make Paratha.
Place the paratha on a heated Tawa or pan. Cook it as you would cook plain paratha. Cook one side with oil or ghee until light golden brown spots appear on one side.
Repeat the same process for the naming dough and masala and make all the parathas like this.
Serve Papad Parathas with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney and Lauki Raita.
