Spiced Prune Chutney Recipe is a sweet and spicy mixture that is made with preserved prunes. It is good way to use it as an accompaniment for various ingredient such as a spread for a sandwich, or can be added to a wrap along with some vegetables, it can also be had with an Indian breakfast dish like dosa or Stuffed Paratha.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Prunes
- 1 Onion , chopped
- 1 Tomato , finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder (Dalchini)
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg powder
- 1 teaspoon Ajwain (Carom seeds)
- 4 tablespoon Red Chilli flakes
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- Salt , to taste
How to make Spiced Prune Chutney Recipe
To begin making the Spiced Prune Chutney Recipe by heating a flat skillet with little oil, crack the ajwain seeds and saute the onion till it becomes translucent.
Add in the tomato and the rest of the ingredients except prunes. Mash it well and cook till the tomatoes gets cooked.
Next add the prunes and add ½ cup water and simmer it for about 15 minutes. Once done let it cool down and blitz it to a coarse paste in a blender.
