How to make Caramelized Ripe Plantains Without Added Sugar Recipe (Caramelized Nendran)
To prepare Caramelized Ripe Plantains without Added Sugar (Caramelized Nendran), take 2 ripe plantains and peel them.
Slice the plantains into half. Slit them lengthwise once again to make smaller pieces.
Heat very little oil in a good quality non-stick pan. Arrange the sliced plantains, flat side down on the heated pan.
Allow the plantains to roast on a medium to low flame. After a few minutes, flip over and continue to roast. Keep flipping the plantains till the plantains are well roasted.
And that's it! Sticky and wonderfully caramelized plantains is ready to be devoured.
