  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 cup Sooji (Semolina/ Rava)
  • 2 tablespoon Caster Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Whole Egg
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk
  • Oil , for deep frying

  1. We begin making the Goan Style Kulkuls Recipe (Honey glazed wheat Curls Recipe) by mixing all the ingredients in a small bowl to a soft dough.

  2. Rest it for 10 minutes by covering it with a damp cloth. Once it is rested it is time to make those small curls.

  3. Take a small piece from the dough, keep a fork next to you and press the dough gently on the back of the fork. Once the dough becomes flat, from one side start slowly rolling to join the other end, making sure the shape of the stripes remain.
