  1. To begin making the Pear And Walnut Salad Recipe, first dry roast the walnuts in a pan or skillet for few seconds. Once the walnuts have become lightly crisp, turn off the heat and keep it aside.

  2. Tear the lettuce leaves into bite size pieces and keep aside.

  3. To prepare the dressing for the salad, in a small bowl whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, dijon mustard, tarragon leaves, salt and red chili.

  4. Next in a salad mixing bowl add the lettuce, diced cucumber, sliced pear. Pour the dressing and gently toss the salad in the dressing. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Finally toasted walnuts to the salad. Gently toss the salad.  Check the salt and seasonings and adjust to suit your taste.
