To Make Coconut Milk
- 2 cups Fresh coconut , chopped or grated
- 1 cup Lukewarm Water For The Curry
- 3 Potatoes (Aloo) , peeled and diced
- 1 cup Green peas (Matar) , steamed
- 1 Onion , finely chopped
- 1 Tomato , finely chopped
- 1 inch Ginger , finely chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic , finely chopped
- 2 Cloves (Laung)
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
- 1/2 teaspoon Whole Black Peppercorns , coarsely pounded
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1-1/2 cups Coconut milk
- Salt , to taste

To begin making the Potato And Peas In Coconut Milk Curry Recipe, peel, wash and cut the potatoes into cubes and keep it immersed in water to avoid discolouration.
Into the zodiac mixer grinder with the super extraction blade, add the coconut and the warm water and extract the coconut milk. Keep the coconut milk aside.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker; add the onions, ginger, garlic and saute until the onions are softened.
Add the cloves, cumin powder, black peppercorns, turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Saute for a few seconds.
