- 1 liter Milk
- 1 cup Sweet Boondi
- 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
- 1 teaspoon Rose water
- Saffron strands , a few
- 10 Whole Almonds (Badam) , blanched, cut into slivers

Getting ahead with the Boondi Ki Kheer Recipe
Add milk in a sauce pan on medium high flame and bring it to a brisk boil.
Once the milk has boiled, reduce the flame to medium- low, add in the saffron strands, and cardamom and let the milk reduce to half its volume.
We are looking for a creamy, thick kheer. Once it reduces to half its quantity, turn off the flame.
At this stage add in the rose water, almond slivers and the sweet boondi.
Serve the the Boondi Ki Kheer hot or cold , according to your choice.
