Ingredients

  • 1 cup Paneer (Homemade Cottage Cheese) , cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic , minced finely
  • 1 Lemon juice
  • Lemon zest , as required
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • Salt , as required
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , for garnish

How to make Paneer In Lemon Honey Sauce Recipe

  1. To begin making the Paneer In Lemon Honey Sauce, cut paneer into cubes. Mix paneer with salt, turmeric in a mixing bowl and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

  2. Heat oil in a skillet and add minced garlic. Sauté it till the garlic releases a nice aroma.

  3. Add honey and lemon juice to the garlic and sauté until the mixture thickens enough to coat the paneer pieces well.

  4. Add pepper, pinch of lemon zest and salt and mix well. Add paneer and sauté in the sauce for about 10 minutes. Do not overcook Paneer as it will become hard and will loose its softness.

  5. Garnish with lemon zest and serve with honey on the sides.
